What happened

Northrop Grumman Corporation – a world-leading aerospace and defence technology company – has successfully tested Sentinel, a Intercontinental Balistic Missile (ICBM) stage-two solid rocket motor, in a static-fire test at the U.S. Air Force Arnold Engineering Development Complex. Designed to last until 2075, the Sentinel Programme is a modernisation of the land component of the nation’s strategic triad.
