Explosions were reported off the coast of Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula near Dahab, with witnesses seeing an object fall into the Gulf of Aqaba. The incident occurred about two kilometers from Dahab, and no casualties have been reported.
Dahab is located about 125 kilometers south of Eilat on the southern tip of Israel, which has been waging a deadly war with Hamas militants in Gaza for more than 11 weeks.
Flying objects were repeatedly shot down near the south of Sinai, with Egyptian military targeting “drones from the south of the Red Sea.”
