What happened

According to a military spokesman, militants from an Islamic State-allied rebel group killed three people in an attack on a village in the western region of the country. The assailants from the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) attacked the village in Kamwenge district, killing a 75-year-old woman and her two grandchildren before burning the bodies.
