France signed a nuclear cooperation memorandum with Sweden. Stockholm, like Paris, is focusing on the use of nuclear energy for climate purposes. Then, France came out in favor of nuclear energy as part of the EU’s low-carbon energy mix, while at the same time provoking discontent in anti-nuclear Germany.
Whereas Stockholm and Paris focus on the use of nuclear energy to achieve their climate goals, Germany is instead pushing towards renewable energy sources.
