According to The Africa CDC’s Weekly Event-Based Surveillance Report, the Ministry of Health reported 14 new confirmed cases and no new deaths of cholera. Cumulatively, 8937 confirmed cases (1842 confirmed, 7095 suspected) and 148 deaths (CFR: 1,7%) were reported from 28 of 47 counties in Kenya. Currently, the outbreak is active in Lamu and Tana River counties.
