At least four people lost their lives during an attack carried out by the self-styled “Islamic State” terrorist group in Novo Cabo Delgado village, Macomia district, in the northern province of Cabo Delgado. Furthermore, in addition to the dead, there were four other people injured. Of the injured, one victim is female.
According to local sources, the gunmen appeared in the morning, while people were attending an initiation ceremony.
