The Paluel 1 NPP reactor was disconnected from the power grid after an instrument system malfunctioned. It was the last operational reactor at the plant, with the fourth taken out of service for maintenance.
According to the EDF operator, the procedure was carried out safely and the teams are working to reconnect the unit on 7 November. Planned maintenance of reactor four is scheduled to end on 8 December.
