Norway and Germany to develop next generation missile

Norway’s Defence Minister reported that his country will develop a new “super missile” in cooperation with Germany. The project will be led by Kongsberg Defence and Aerospace (KDA) and the missile, called Super Sonic Strike Missile (3SM) Tyrfing, is expected to be ready in 2035. Norway’s defense capability and the ability to combat long-range targets will be improved by the new missile, Norwegian Minister of Defence Björn Arild Gram said.
