Bulgaria, France to explore cooperation in nuclear energy, defense

Bulgaria and France have agreed to explore cooperation opportunities in nuclear energy and defense: this understanding was reached during a meeting between Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov and visiting French Secretary of State for European Affairs Laurence Boone. As the media reported, France is interested in the modernization projects of the Bulgarian army, for which French companies have bid for the supply of technological equipment.
