What happened

An explosive device launched by the militants exploded at the Pakistan Petroleum Limited (PPL) work site on the outskirts of Kalat. The blast killed one employee and injured a second. According to armed forces officials, the explosion occurred in the Sheikhri area, near the PPL workplace. An Improvised Explosive Device (IED) placed on site exploded while the work was underway.
