China seeks input on draft GHS labelling standard

The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has published its plan to revise seven mandatory national standards, including the General Rules for Preparation of Precautionary Label for Chemicals (GB 15258-2009), and requested public comment on this draft revision of standards. MIIT invited industry to submit feedback on its plan to review and replace the mandatory national standard for GHS labelling, setting a deadline for comments on October 29, 2022.
