Northrop Grumman and Airbus has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop and update UK’s future wideband SKYNET military satellite communications programme. The agreement between the two leading defense and space companies will bring together the latest technologies and employ the two companies’ mutually shared experience, knowledge and capabilities to meet military satellite communications requirements for the UK Ministry of Defence.
The two companies will collaborate to offer customers the latest military satellite communications technologies for users, ensuring the connection and scratching of the growing amount of data collected and disseminated on land, in the air, at sea and in orbit.
