According to the Ugandan Police Force, 42 students were killed and six others kidnapped following an attack on a school in western Uganda by armed rebels from the Allied Democratic Force, a group that has pledged allegiance to ISIS – so-called Islamic State militants. The attack took place at Lhubirira secondary school, in Mpondwe, in the west of the country.
