China’s Chemical Management II Division is currently conducting inspections on Companies involved in the production, import, or use of significant quantities of 35 hazardous solvents and monomers. The purpose of these inspections is to ensure that these companies are adhering to the regulations set forth in the State Administration of Work Safety’s (SAWS’) Order 53, which pertains to the registration of hazardous chemicals.
As of now, more than half of the inspections have already been completed, and the remaining inspections are scheduled to be finished by the end of August.
