What happened

Fairbanks Morse Defense (FMD) and network provider Oceus have partnered to create a 5G broadband kit tailored for maritime defense. The companies will develop Remote Connect, a secure network solution based on 5G technology. This innovative solution will enable maritime defense customers to establish remote connectivity using any device. Remote Connect will provide sailors with reliable and high-speed 5G communications in remote international areas or regions with high interference.
