What happened

An initiative has been initiated by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) to create sensors that can endure extreme temperatures. The program named High Operational Temperature Sensors (HOTS) aims to develop microelectronic sensor technologies that can perform high-bandwidth, high-dynamic-range sensing even in challenging environments.
