IED attack near bus station in Barawe

An explosion has been reported in Barawe, Lower Shabelle Region, Somalia, probably triggered by the blast of an Improvised Explosive Device. The exact location of the explosion is unclear but unconfirmed reports indicate it may have been near a bus station. An unknown number of victims has been reported. Further explosions cannot be ruled out, enhanced safety measures and transport disruptions around the accident site have been implemented.
