EOD cooperation agreement signed between Italy and San Marino

An agreement was signed in Rome by the Italian Undersecretary of State for Defense, Senator Isabella Rauti, and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of San Marino, H.E. Daniela Rotondaro. This agreement provides for cooperation in the occasional remediation of unexploded ordnance found in the territory of San Marino. The remediation activity will be conducted by personnel specialising in such matters, who are members of the Italian Army. The agreement constitutes an element in the relations of friendship and mutual assistance between Italy and San Marino, in the common interest of consolidating excellent bilateral relations and promoting common security. These observations were made by the Italian Undersecretary of State for Defense, Senator Rauti, on the occasion of the signing of the agreement.
