The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Inspector General of Police (IGP) Zulfiqar Hameed delivered an address to members of the press in Peshawar, during which he revealed that significant evidence had been discovered concerning the terrorist network that had been responsible for the attacks on Haqqania Seminary in Akora Khattak, the historic seminary’s mosque in Nowshera on 28 February, and Bannu Cantonment in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where militants had attempted to intrude into the military facility on 4 March. The two terrorist attacks resulted in a total of 42 fatalities, with at least 50 individuals sustaining injuries, including attackers, security personnel, and civilians. In the aftermath of the two terrorist attacks, law enforcement officials have apprehended multiple individuals about the investigation. The police official went on to state that further details would be released once additional suspects have been detained.
