What happened

The European Centre for Disaster Medicine (CEMEC) participated in the recent meeting of the INSEN Working Group II, promoted within the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), which took place online on 10 April 2025. The IAEA is a key player in assisting countries in the safe and responsible use of nuclear science and, through the International Nuclear Security Education Network (INSEN), promotes cooperation between academic and professional institutions to strengthen the training of nuclear security professionals. The meeting centred on the establishment of educational programmes, advancement of the teaching faculty and international collaboration to address complex and urgent contemporary issues.
