ONSITE tests new AI-based mine detection technology

Safe Pro Group Inc, a leading provider of artificial intelligence (AI) solutions specialising in drone imagery processing, recently announced that its artificial intelligence subsidiary, Safe Pro AI, has launched SpotlightAI™ ONSITE, a real-time automatic mine detection software designed for use with virtually any drone. The technology has been successfully deployed in active minefields in Ukraine, capturing high-resolution drone imagery and GPS-tagged geospatial data over more than 5,300 hectares. A YouTube video released by the company demonstrates the product: it quickly identified and instantly mapped live explosive threats, including small anti-personnel cluster munitions and landmines scattered over large areas.
