The Indiana Department of Health reported the first measles case in the state since early 2024. The infected person is an unvaccinated minor in Allen County and should soon recover from the disease. Health officials are monitoring the situation to identify other potential cases.
Texas remains the epicentre of the current US measles outbreak, with over 400 cases. Small outbreaks have also been reported in New Jersey, Georgia, Ohio, Kansas, Illinois, and Michigan.
