What happened

Police and security forces in the northern province of Chui, Kyrgyzstan killed a suspected terrorist during an operation in the village of Dmitrievka. According to government sources, two law enforcement officers were injured during the operation. The Secretary of the Kyrgyz Security Council, Marat Imankulov, stated that the situation in the village was ‘stable’ after the incident. However, no further details about the operation were provided.
