Two people were killed by Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) planted by Boko Haram along a route between Borno and Adamawa states, according to the Borno State Police Public Relations. The explosion occurred when a pick-up truck carrying six passengers to Garkida market hit the devices. One of the victims, 25-year-old Adama Yakubu, died on the spot. The others were taken to hospital. The attack has been confirmed by Borno police, who suspect Boko Haram involvement. Security forces are securing the area and urging residents to report any suspicious activity.
