India: terror attack against army vehicle in Jammu & Kashmir

An army vehicle came under fire from suspected terrorists in a village near the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir. The village is in the Sunderbani sector, a well-known infiltration route for militants. During the attack, the terrorists fired several rounds against the army vehicle from the cover of a dense forest. Troops immediately responded and reinforcements soon arrived to track down the attackers. No casualties were reported. The Indian army has launched a massive operation to neutralize the threat and secure the area.
