3 children were killed and another injured in mine explosions, left over from past wars in Wardak province of Afghanistan.
The children were killed and injured in 2 incidents in the same province. The first happened when 3 children found a toy-like explosive device in Sayed Abad district; the device exploded, killing 2 on the spot and injuring the other one.
A similar incident occurred in the same province, Dehmirdad district, killing 1 child.Â
