What happened

In Liguria, three new positive cases of the swine fever virus have been identified among wild boars. Two of these cases were found in the province of La Spezia, with one occurring in the village of Maissana, where three cases have been recorded. The third case was identified in Sesta Godano, marking the first instance of the virus in this area. In the province of Genoa, a single case was identified in Lumarzo, bringing the total number of cases in the region to 1,037.
