CEMEC at the 29th Chemical Weapons Convention meeting

During the ’29th Session of the Conference of the States Parties to the Chemical Weapons Convention’ (CSP-29) in The Hague, the European Centre for Disaster Medicine (CEMEC) met with Hong Li, Director of the External Relations Division of the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW). The discussion centred on the potential for new collaborative endeavours between CEMEC and the OPCW in addressing issues of shared concern. The meeting emphasised the vital necessity to consolidate expertise and resources in order to address the challenges of chemical safety, preparedness and response in the context of the contemporary global environment.
