CEMEC chaired the CBRNe Summit Asia 2024

The European Centre for Disaster Medicine (CEMEC) chaired the activities of the CBRNe Summit Asia 2024, which was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, in November 2024. The event, which brought together over 80 participants and speakers from regional and international organisations, had the objective of addressing emerging challenges and exploring innovative solutions with a view to strengthening global emergency preparedness and response. At the Summit, global best practices and cutting-edge technologies for emergency management and defence were presented with the intention of promoting knowledge sharing through dynamic, interactive sessions. The overarching objective of these sessions was to reinforce regional collaboration and cooperation in the domain of CBRNe risk in an evolving global context.
