Accidental gas leakage from a road pipeline

During the construction of a new cycle path in San Martino dei Mulini, a hamlet of Santarcangelo di Romagna (province of Rimini), a medium-pressure gas pipe was damaged, resulting in an immediate leak of methane gas in the surrounding area. In response to the incident, the Adrigas company deployed a team of technicians to contain the leak, in collaboration with the fire brigade and local police officers, who secured the surrounding area. The road network was temporarily closed for safety reasons. There were no reports of damage to property or injuries.
