The Atucha II Nuclear Power Plant stopped its activity due to a technical failure, and it isn’t yet known when it will operate again. Its contribution to the national power line is circa 3% of the total and could cost the Government hundreds of millions of dollars to replace that energy source in months of greatest demand.
