USCENTCOM confirms death and capture of 30 ISIS commanders

What happened

Partnering with local security forces in Iraq and Syria, US Central Command (USCENTCOM) announced that since August 29, they have spearheaded 95 operations and are responsible for the deaths of 163 terrorists and the capture of 33, including over 30 between middle and high-ranking ISIS leaders. The operations also resulted in the seizure of “significant equipment” which could be used in future terrorist actions.

Gen. Michael Erik Kurilla, commander of USCENTCOM, reaffirmed the commitment to pursue terrorists and disrupt their capabilities to attack U.S. interests and those of their coalition partners.
