What happened

The National Undersecretary for Health Surveillance, Prevention and Control, Francisco Pérez, reported that Ministry of Public Health (MSP) maintains active epidemiological surveillance in Dengue, Chikungunya, and Leptospirosis cases, specifying that a week before the first case of Chikungunya in Ecuador was registered in the province of Azuay, corresponding to a person who traveled to Paraguay, it isn’t of epidemiological relevance but the MSP maintains active all control measures for its treatment.
