The European Centre for Disaster Medicine took part in the 68th IAEA General Conference

At the 68th General Conference of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the European Centre for Disaster Medicine (ECDM) presented the project entitled ENSURE-PROTECT: Enhancing Safety and Security for Civil Defence Personnel by Protecting Rescuers with Training and Equipment. The ENSURE-PROTECT project is primarily concerned with the protection of first responders and other individuals engaged in civil protection and critical tasks, particularly in contexts characterised by conflict and hostility. The objective is to enhance the safety and operational capabilities of first responders, critical infrastructure workers and inspectors through the provision of specialised training and protective equipment.
