Suspected Listeria in salad bag, 19 marks withdrawn

The Italian Ministry of Health has announced a recall for several lots of salad distributed under 19 different brands, owing to potential contamination with the bacterium Listeria monocytogenes. Consumers are advised to avoid consuming salads that match the expiration dates and lot numbers specified in the Ministry’s recall notice. Purchasers of the affected products are entitled to return them to the original point of sale.
