A salmonellosis outbreak has been registered in the Caudini area (Benevento province). So far nine children between the ages of 12 and 36 months, all diagnosed with salmonella, have been admitted to the hospital to receive proper treatment. These cases are connected by their attendance at a private kindergarten in Valle Caudina.
