As detailed in the WHO’s “Weekly Bulletin on Outbreaks and other Emergencies” (week 26: 24 to 30 June 2024), a total of 27,577 cases have been reported, with 21 deaths. In comparison, 1,770 cases (1,762 confirmed) and zero deaths were reported in 2024.
