Pakistan: 15 terrorists arrested during intelligence-based operations in Punjab

During several intelligence-based operations, fifteen terrorists from banned militant groups were arrested by the police in the Punjab province. The terrorists belonged to Daesh (ISIS), Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ). The terrorists aimed to attack important installations in Punjab. Police officers found in their possession almost six thousand grams of explosives, an IED bomb, a 30 caliber pistol with 18 bullets, 18 detonators, 47 wires of safety, and prohibited ammunition.
