Crude Bomb blast at school in West Bengal

An explosive device of the crude bomb type was detonated on the roof of a school building in Titagarh, in the north 24 Parganas district of West Bengal. The explosion did not cause any injury although the classes were in session at that time. The blast resulted from a single crude bomb, a senior official from the Barrackpore Police Commission stated. It remains to be determined whether the device was dropped from an adjacent building or if it was placed there and unexpectedly detonated.
