Package in a dumpster exploded in Turin

An explosion occurred in a residential area of Turin due to a package of lithium batteries assembled by hand thrown into a dumpster. According to eyewitnesses, the package was dumped by a resident before it caught fire. The whole area has been sealed off and isolated to allow the intervention of the bomb squad and the scientific police. Damage to persons has not been reported. No further details have been disclosed.
