Italy: Entrepreneur’s house targeted by IED in Bitti

According to local sources, an improvised explosive device detonated in the house of an entrepreneur in Bitti, in the Binza Manna area. The explosion caused serious damage to the building. No casualties were reported.
According to initial findings, and in light of the extensive damage to the property, the device has been skilfully set up.
Initial investigations have suggested that the attack may be related to his family connection to the Mayor of Bitti.
Investigations are now focusing on his professional activity in tourism.
