What happened

According to The Africa CDC’s Weekly Event-Based Surveillance Report, the Ministry of Health (MoH) reported 34 new cases (9 confirmed; 25 suspected) and no new deaths of bacterial meningitis from four districts. Cumulatively, 148 cases (31 confirmed; 117 suspected) and no deaths of bacterial meningitis have been reported from 11 of the 75 districts.
