According to The Africa CDC’s Weekly Event-Based Surveillance Report, a total of 4594 cases (342 confirmed; 4252 suspected) and 280 deaths (CFR: 6,09%) of Monkey Pox have been reported from five AU MS: Cameroon (14 cases; 1 death), CAR (47; 0), Congo (43; 0), DRC (4488; 279) and Liberia (2; 0). this week, 598 new cases and 15 new deaths from mpox were reported from Cameroon, DRC and Liberia.
