According to The Africa CDC’s Weekly Event-Based Surveillance Report, the Ministry of Agriculture (MoAg) reported an outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza (HPAI H5N1) among 641 domestic poultry birds in a commercial farm in Ouagadougou. a total of 581 confirmed cases and 441 deaths (CFR: 75,9%) have been reported among poultry birds.
