A gas explosion occurred at a restaurant in northern China, specifically in Sanhe city, less than 50 kilometers east of Beijing. It is reported that at least 2 people have died, while 26 others have been injured. State broadcaster CCTV indicated that the explosion was likely caused by a gas leak at a fried chicken shop.
