What happened

According to The Africa CDC’s Weekly Event-Based Surveillance Report, the MoH reported 415 new cases (27 confirmed; 388 suspected) and no new deaths of measles from all regions across the country. 68% of the new measles cases were from Banadir (69 cases), Galgaduud (46), Gedo (145) and Lower Shabelle (22) regions. 65% of the cases were children under 5 years. Cumulatively, 1662 cases (54 confirmed; 1608 suspected) and no deaths of Measles have benne reported from all seve regions across Somalia.
