According to The Africa CDC’s Weekly Event-Based Surveillance Report, the MoH reported 303 new cases (54 confirmed; 249 suspected) and no new deaths of dengue fever from the Bamako and Kayes regions. Cumulatively, 925 cases (176 confirmed; 749 suspected) and no deaths of dengue fever wwere reported from 8 of 10 regions in Mali this year. Two Serotypes (VDN-1 and VDEN-3) were detected among confirmed cases. This is a protracted outbreak that started in September 2023.
