According to The Africa CDC’s Weekly Event-Based Surveillance Report, the MoH reported 37 new confirmed cases and 2 new deaths (CFR: 5,4%) of cholera from Ngazidja region. This is an over two-fold increase in the number of new cases compared the last update. Cumulatively, 53 confirmed cases (11 imported; 42 local) and 4 deaths (CFR: 7.5%) of cholera were reported from Ngazidja and Mohili regions (98% of the cases were reported from Ngazidja region).
