Pakistan: Security vehicle targeted by an IED in Buleda

Five soldiers were killed and two others, including an officer, were injured after an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) detonation targeted a security vehicle in the Buleda area Balochistan’s Kech district. The security forces’ vehicle was hit by the IED while returning to the Gillisar checkpoint after conducting a patrol. After the explosion, there was a brief firefight with the attackers, who eventually fled.
