Afghanistan: IED blast in Kabul

According to the Kabul Security Department spokesman, at least two civilians were killed and 12 others were injured in a grenade explosion in Kabul’s PD 18 area. The NGO Emergency, a Kabul-based humanitarian health organization, said that “the number of patients our Surgical Center received following the explosion in Kabul’s PD18 has risen to 13, including 6 women, 4 men, a 17-year-old boy and 2 children.” Responsibility for the explosion has not been claimed.
